APAC TFT ESPORTS: Full Explanation And Guide

The world of Teamfight Tactics is about to get even more exciting in the APAC region! With the introduction of the Tactician Trials and the Tactician’s Cup, players from each region will have a chance to showcase their skills and compete for glory on a global stage.

Region

Due to the recent changes in TFT competitive formats, the APAC region will now be divided into three separate regions for the Tactician Trials, featuring the APAC, Korea and Vietnam. 

The top performers from each of these regions will eventually compete together for reaching the Tactician’s Cup. To determine who will qualify for the world championship.

How to Register

If you are determine to join the APAC just follow these guidelines:

Step 1: Register

The first thing that you are going to do is to register first. Fill out the form and complete all the details provided. You can find eligibility requirements in the official competition rule, so you can check that out. 

Step 2: Sign Ups

To participate in the competition, just click the button to sign up. 

Step 3: Time to Set Sail

Once you are ready, prepare your strongest units and workout your strategies. You’ll need to perform at your peak to qualify for the final tournament. Good luck!

Tactician Trials

To start in APAC TFT Esports, You must participate first in the Tactician Trials to prove your skills in the Tactician’s Cup and be qualified.  

The Tactician Trials (TT) are the qualifying tournaments for the Tactician’s Cups. These trials are held in all three sub-regions of the APAC region. To participate, players must be ranked first. The top-ranked sign ups will qualify for the tournament. 

However, players that already qualified for the Tactician’s Cup through the ladder will not need to participate in the Tactician Trial and automatically advance to the next Tactician’s Cup. 

To register, make sure your account is on the following servers: VN, KR, or APAC (TW, JP, OC, PH, SG, or TH). Make sure that it is active and ready. It will determine your eligibility based on your live server rank. 

Tactician’s Cups

The Tactician’s Cup is the premier tournament in the APAC region. Over 128 total players are going to compete, including the top performers from the three sub-regions, sub-regional events, the ladder and the Tactician Trials (60 players, or 64 in the first Cup).

The top 4 finishers in each group will automatically qualify for the next major event. The top four from Cup 1 advance to Cup 2, then the top four from Cup 2 will advance to Cup 3, and the top 4 from Cup 3 will qualify for the APAC Golden Spatula. 

Golden Spatula

The APAC Golden Spatula is the ultimate test for the APAC Esports players. They will showcase the best of the best from the entire region. This 3 day event will be broadcast by Riot. This will determine the APAC champion and reveal the potential candidates for the Tactician’s Crown, the global championship of Teamfight Tactics. 

Ladder System

The best ladder players on each server can earn a spot in the Tactician’s Cup and the Tactician’sCrown This will capture 10 snapshots and 3 snapshots, granting points to the top 50 players in each snapshots. 

Top ranked players in each snapshots will receive 50 points with the points decreasing to 1 point for 50tg place. After the final snapshots, the 13 players with the highest total points will qualify for the APAC TFT Inkborn Fables Golden Spatula.
