AMD has just released a brand new video showcasing how far its FidelityFX Super Resolution (or FSR, for short) has come since its release back in June — and with it a list of titles that will soon support this solid (albeit far from mind-blowing) upscaling technology!

That’s perhaps the best way to describe it, too: good but not great. In fact, one could argue that FSR does more bad than good in certain titles; be that as it may, it’s still too early to judge its effectiveness and long-term potential — it took NVIDIA many months to polish DLSS and get it to where it is now.

So even though AMD’s upscaling tech might not be all too powerful at this point in time, it is nonetheless great for gamers to have a wider range of options to choose from. Plus, it’s open source and will surely continue to grow and evolve so there’s definitely a reason for optimism!

AMD FSR | Better and Better by the Day

The following titles will all receive support for AMD’s FSR. Some of them still haven’t been released (like, say, God of War), whereas others have been out for quite a while (Escape From Tarkov, for instance). It’s an eclectic line-up, no doubt, and it just goes to show that even though AMD’s upscaling tech isn’t particularly effective at its job it’s still of great interest to various developers across the globe.

Needless to say, they’re well aware of its long-term potential!

  • Astergos
  • Vampire Masquerade: Blood Hunt
  • Do Something
  • Edge of The Abyss
  • Escape From Tarkov
  • Evil V Evil
  • Forspoken
  • God of War
  • Hellish Quart
  • Hitman III
  • Hot Wheels Unleashed
  • Iron Conflict
  • Karma
  • Myth of Empires
  • No Man’s Sky
  • Raji
  • Stray Blade
  • Super People
  • The Elders Scroll Online
  • Warface
  • Workshop Simulator
  • X4: Foundations

It’s fair to say that AMD’s FSR has garnered quite a lot of attention in a staggeringly short amount of time. With that being said, “team red” will have to step up its game if it wants to compete on even footing with the likes of NVIDIA and Intel, the latter of which supposedly has some mind-blowing upscaling tech of its own.
