Closing the 2022 competitive season, ESL Impact League Season 2 will take place in Jönköping, Sweden from November 25 to 27. These eight women’s CS:GO teams will compete for a $123,000 prize pool.

What is the ESL Impact League?

ESL Impact CS:GO circuit was created as part of the ESL #GGFORALL initiative and aims to bring stability and support to the female CS:GO scene through monthly cash cups and two annual online league seasons.

The number of women playing Counter-Strike in competition has been greatly reduced since Riot Games launched the VCT Game Changers, a tournament for women in VALORANT, in 2021. This only shows how rapidly the esports industry is expanding.
