Out of the 16 seats available for the Blast Premiere Fall Showdown, 14 have already been claimed, with the final two going to teams that receive a direct invitation from the tournament’s organizers

After winning their respective qualifying events, Team One, TYLOO, Eternal Fire, ECSTATIC, and the Brazilian giants Fluxo have qualified for the Blast Premier Fall Showdown, while popular teams ENCE and MOUZ failed to do so. The 16 teams will compete for two seats at the BLAST Fall Final in November in addition to the $135,000 prize pool.

ECSTATIC and Eternal Fire made it to the Fall Showdown

With their victory in TWR Eastern European Masters Fall 2022, Eternal Fire qualified for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. The Turkish squad finished 2-1 in the group round to advance to the playoffs, where they defeated MOUZ and SINNERS to clinch the spot at Fall Showdown.

On the other hand, the highest-ranked team in the competition, MOUZ, entered the tournament as the favorite. With an undefeated record, they took first place in Group A, beating ONYX by a score of 16-1. The team, however, were unable to maintain their hot streak in the playoff stage and were eliminated by Eternal Fire in the semifinal.

meanwhile, ECSTATIC won the all-Danish grand finals match at Pelaajat Nordic Masters Fall 2022 to successfully advance to BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. Following a strong performance in the group stage, the team doubled down in the playoffs, defeating ENCE by a score of 2-0 in the semifinals before thrashing MASONIC by the same score in the championship match. Even though ENCE entered the qualifying as the absolute favorites, they struggled to get the ball rolling, After finishing second in Group B, the No. 17-ranked team was eliminated by ECSTATIC in the semifinals.

Team One will carry NA’s hope in Fall Showdown 

In the final game of the Ace North American Masters Fall over, TeamOne defeated Nours 2-1 to win a ticket to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown and the Flow FiReLEAGUE Global Finals. The team battled through the GSL group stage, defeating BHOP and Nouns to advance to the playoffs, where they then overcame EG White to secure a place in the grand final versus Noun. The Brazilian team has a packed itinerary and must choose between competing at the ESL Challenger Rotterdam or the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals, both of which are set to take place from October 14 to 16.
