The world of Dota 2’s professional leagues is immense. It was never a straight and smooth road where a single team could simply thread along the way and remain together forever. Sometimes, as difficult of a decision as it may be, goodbyes have to be made. Although it can be sad not only for fellow teammates but also the fans, it is a normal and necessary process that teams undertake in order to grow further; for the sake of the team, and each individual professional player’s growth as well.

Be it to fill in the gaps in their performances, due to having different plans and priorities, or in order to rest, roster changes for Dota 2 should be viewed in an optimistic way. Sometimes, the players themselves are not really weak; they just happen to be in the wrong place for their potential to develop. Harmony in composition is one of if not the most important factor for a team to win their battles and achieve their coveted dreams; the Aegis of immortality favors the team that holds not onto each individual, but their vision and mission.

As TI13 finally comes to a close, we look forward to the developments of Esport teams that will showcase their new powers in the future tournaments.
