fragster Farjana Jamal 15. September 2025

Overwatch 2 has rolled out one of its most notable collaborations, bringing Persona 5 into Blizzard’s hero shooter. After the teasers in the Season 18 trailer where players saw Joker’s mask and gloves, the crossover is now revealed with Legendary skins, themed cosmetics, and some hidden Easter eggs.

Overwatch 2 x Persona 5 Collaboration Event

The Persona 5 event in Overwatch 2 is live from September 16 to September 30, 2025, during the mid-Season 18 update. This is part of Blizzard’s collaborations, after earlier crossovers with One-Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Players will get Phantom Thieves-inspired Legendary skins, in-game challenges, an event hub styled after Persona 5’s UI, and nods to places like the Velvet Room.

Persona 5 Easter Eggs in Overwatch 2

The skins have references to the Phantom Thieves’ Personas:

  • Wuyang’s Xuanwu Staff links to Arsene.
  • Mercy’s wings resemble Carmen.
  • D.Va’s mech is a nod to Johanna.

When moving with these skins, players leave stylized paint splashes, inspired by Persona 5’s UI. The event hub takes the red-and-black theme of Persona 5’s menus, and Blizzard hinted that the Velvet Room might appear on some maps.

Unlocks, Challenges & Pricing

Blizzard has not confirmed if skins come by bundles, challenges, or shop purchases, but they are marked Legendary. The event also has:

  • Challenges tied to Persona 5.
  • Extra cosmetics like sprays, emotes, and voice lines.
  • A limited-time hub to track rewards.

The Overwatch 2 x Persona 5 event is more than a skin drop. It brings five Legendary skins, a themed hub, and Easter eggs across the game.
