FIFA 23 has announced the upcoming Update 7, which addresses bugs in the transfer market, positioning of players on corner kicks, and improving the referee logic.

The FIFA 23 promo has been marred by bugs quite a bit and this has caused a lot of frustration among the players. A glitch gave players the wrong version of the TOTY Courtois, and incorrect packs gave users world championship players. Both bugs emerged just days after four promo cards were accidentally nerfed.

EA apologized for the recent glitches and released a long list of changes coming to the game with FIFA 23 Update 7 very soon.

Adjusted FIFA 23 corner kick positioning

With FIFA 23 Title Update 6, the speed and accuracy of corner kicks have been improved. Community members had complained that it was too easy to hit straight from the corner point.

Ever since EA made it harder to score from corner kicks, players have struggled to create so many chances on offense. In the upcoming update, the developers announced that taller players will move into more attack-oriented positions. That should even the scales and make it easier to score again.

FIFA 23 improves offside decisions

EA also confirmed that Title Update 7 improves referee decision-making when making offside decisions. There were occasions when players on the touchline ran outside the penalty area and were then incorrectly flagged as offside.
