When the Season 3 video for Overwatch 2, Blizzard’s shooter and hero game, debuted earlier this month, a collaboration between One-Punch Man and Overwatch 2 was revealed. The Season 3 blog post promised more incentives, including more skins, and the video showed off a Saitama-themed Doomfist skin.

The third season of the game’s One-Punch Man event runs from March 7 to April 6, 2023. Yesterday’s post on the Overwatch Twitter account unveiled a new skin for the collaboration. This skin for the hero Soldier: 76 damage is based on the OPM character Mumen Rider.

While the tasks have not yet been determined, based on the pattern Blizzard has established, there will likely be some event-specific mode that players must participate in to earn the rewards.

In Overwatch 2, Soldier 76’s skin looks precisely like Mumen Rider’s costume from the anime. The Soldier wears a black and brown battle suit accompanied by Mumen Rider’s metallic belt and signature green biker helmet. Mumen Rider is the ideal candidate for the Soldier 76 skin because he can sport the tactical visors of the Damage Hero and has the biker’s goggles.

Mumen Rider, one of the anime’s lesser-known heroes, first appears at the story’s beginning. He is neither the strongest nor the most beloved character in the series. However, the character has a reputation for being quite brave and is not afraid to take on opponents considerably stronger than him.
