Information has recently been made public from Tencent about the Thailand PMPL Spring PMPL 2023, which is scheduled to start on February 15, and on February 26, 2023, the event ends.

Twenty teams from all over the country will compete against each other during the two-week competition. Compared to the 2022 season, the prize purse has decreased from $100,000 to $60,000.

About PMPL 2023 Thailand Spring

This year, the format of the PMPL has been changed. The event has been condensed into two weeks and includes a single stage. Teams will face each other over ten rounds in 50 matches. The winning team will receive the coveted trophy and a cash prize of $15,000. PUBG Mobile Season 2023 will employ the 10-point system.

The first week takes place from February 15 to 19, 2023. During this time, there will be five groups of four teams competing. Then, on February 22, 2023, the second and final week begins, ending on February 26, 2023.

Changes in equipment

The Infinity, the reigning champions, said goodbye to Sikarin “nOOzy” Nopparat and added former Faze Clan stars Pheeraphol “Beer11” Phumrat and Nattapat “Teaser” Reesiriwattanakul. After a dismal performance at the PUBG Mobile 2022 World Championship, the team will try to bounce back strong.

Nattawut “TonyK” Muensa and nOOzy have joined Vampire Esports. At the same time, Punnanat “Testo” Suwantip, Teeraphan “Xebec” Inrit, and Atsadawut “Weslyz” Hanthip are three players that Faze Clan has welcomed to its squad.

Last year, Thai teams excelled in international competitions. The Infinity won the PUBG Mobile Regional Clash, while Vampire Esports was named champion of the 2022 World Invitational (PMWI).

Vampire placed sixth in the 2022 World Championship, while Bacon and Buriram United had a strong start but struggled in the later stages.
