The 2025 IGG World Championship concluded from August 29 to 31 in Incheon, South Korea. IGG’s largest esports event thus far in its history, was a prize pool of over $400,000. The tournament hosted top players, live experiences, and fans from many different areas, allowing IGG to be more prominent in the mobile esports’ ecosystem.
The Games at the Center Stage
Viking Rise (August 29)
- Format: Eight teams (24 players) competed in the Sacred Crucible, a PvPvE mode in the Divine Realm.
- Highlight: First offline Viking Rise tournament by IGG.
- Winner: Team r350 executed a well-defined strategy by defeating all other competitors and later defeating the monsters.

Lords Mobile (August 30)
- Format 226: There were 36 players from 16 countries, forming 12 teams, competing for control.
- Special Format: The Invitation Match was a 15-minute solo match with separate competition involving 18 South Korean players which exhibited extremely fast decision-making.
- Winner: Team T4K secured first place, while Pv3 and MrJ finished second.
Doomsday: Last Survivors (August 31)
- Format: 32 players on four teams engaged in the Off-Limits War mode as part of a 35-minute match.
- Original Twist: All four teams discovered they had the Champion Award. And collectively, they received one big trophy that had a surprise gift code for fans that resulted from the team’s medals.
More than just Esports
There were more than just matches involved:
- Areas designed around each game’s world with stages.
- Fan areas with cosplay, character displays, activities, giveaways
- A Zombie Outbreak Experience where people met “real” zombies from the Doomsday: Last Survivors connection.
- And for viewers online, streaming with reward drops enabled them to participate too.
