Thomas “Tommey” Trewren has signed for 100 Thieves, becoming the organization’s first ever Warzone player in the process. The veteran Call of Duty player has joined as a content creator too, with his arrival at 100 Thieves having been made official on Monday.

Tommey has spent over 10 years competing professionally in Call of Duty, with the Brit having represented the likes of Fnatic, Splyce, Team Reciprocity and Dallas Empire. Now aged 28, his move to 100 Thieves could well spell the end of Tommey’s time as a professional in the Call of Duty scene. Having been a substitute for the Dallas Empire last season, Tommey has been playing in Warzone tournaments, making a name for himself as one of the biggest talents in Europe.

What Tommey Will Bring to 100 Thieves

While many will be pleased to see Tommey return, it will undoubtedly be strange to see him somewhere other than the Call of Duty League. Since competing in his final Black Ops 4 match, Trewren won some $45,000 in prize money at the HukKerrs Howl Finals, alongside teammate Rhys “Rated” Price on November 7. This was actually the largest winnings made by Tommey since he finished in third place at the CWL Fort Worth back in March 2019.

While Tommey does not have a World Championship win to his name, something which potentially haunts him to this day, he does have many a standout moment to look back on. He finished second at the CWL Dallas Open in 2018 with Splyce, eventually losing in the Finals against Team Kaliber, while Tommey also has several top-four finishes on his record.

Why 100 Thieves are Going All-In Within COD

Tommey has proven himself as one of the best British players, having won a host of regional tournaments, however his move to 100 Thieves will see him take on the best in the world when it comes to Warzone. The move will also enable him to build his streaming following, with Tommey currently having some 182,000 followers on Twitch to his name. As for 100 Thieves, fans of the organization will be eagerly anticipating the entry in the Call of Duty League with the LA Thieves.
