100 Thieves CS:GO Coach “ImAPet” is reportedly considering a move to the competitive Valorant scene. Chet “ImAPet” Singh only joined 100 Thieves back in May, following a spell coaching Evil Geniuses, however DeKay broke the news on his Twitter page that the 24-year-old American was exploring his options.

A large number of CS:GO professionals have made the switch to Valorant over recent months, with the growth seen by the tactical first-person shooter title from Riot Games set to mean that such moves continue. ImAPet has not enjoyed a hugely successful time at 100 Thieves, with the North American team having struggled in online tournaments under his coaching. The former OpTic Gaming and NRG coach has been involved in CS:GO since back in 2016 when he joined Counter Logic Gaming, however he is now believed to be on the hunt for a new venture. ImAPet certainly has a good track record, having led Evil Geniuses to glory at the ESL One: New York in 2019.

Why ImAPet is Looking to Move to Valorant

However, having joined 100 Thieves following the departure of Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović, who himself has recently been recruited by Cloud9’s new team, ImAPet has failed to make any significant impact. Should the American make the move to Valorant, it would seem unlikely that he would do so with 100 Thieves, who’s Valorant roster currently consists of Spencer “Hiko” Martin, Josh “steel” Nissan and Nick “nitr0” Cannella. While no official announcement has been made surrounding who is coaching the team at present, recent streams have indicated that there is someone in fact someone in charge.

Which Team Could ImAPet End Up Coaching?

Many teams within the Valorant scene have begun restructuring their rosters following the end of the Ignition Series, with the likes of Team Dignitas, Immortals and T1 having all made changes over recent weeks. It is likely that ImAPet will find a coaching position within Valorant, with many teams likely to be looking to make changes in this area. However, it remains to be seen as to where he will ultimately end up.
